Sagabox Terms of Service

Effective date: October 1, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sagabox, operated by Sagabox. By using the Service (website sagaboxtv.com and our mobile apps, including the Android app tv.sagabox.app), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility (13+)

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. We do not permit children under 13 to use the Service.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password and sign-in credentials confidential. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Notify us at support@sagaboxtv.com if you believe your account has been compromised. You may delete your account at any time (see the Account Deletion page).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe the rights of others;
• access or use the Service through automated means, scrape it, or interfere with its normal operation;
• attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent paywalls, region restrictions, rate limits, or access controls;
• reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the Service or its content except as allowed by law;
• upload malware or attempt to harm the Service or other users;
• misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity.

5. User-generated content

The Service lets you post comments on titles and set a display name and avatar. You are solely responsible for the content you post. You keep ownership of your content, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it as part of operating the Service.

Prohibited content. You must not post or share content that:

1. harasses, bullies, or threatens any person, or incites others to do so;
2. is hateful or discriminatory against people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, or sexual orientation;
3. is sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes minors;
4. depicts or promotes graphic violence or violence against people or animals;
5. is spam, scams, or misleading commercial content, including phishing and repetitive promotional posting;
6. is illegal or promotes illegal activity;
7. impersonates any person or entity or misrepresents your affiliation;
8. infringes intellectual property or other rights you do not own, including copyrighted images and text.

6. Reporting and blocking

If you see content that violates these Terms, report it by emailing support@sagaboxtv.com with a link to the content and the reason. We review reports and remove content that violates these Terms. In-app reporting and blocking will be added before comments are enabled in our mobile apps.

7. Moderation and enforcement

We may review, remove, restrict, or refuse any content that violates these Terms or applicable law, with or without notice. We may suspend or terminate accounts, and accounts with repeat violations will be suspended or terminated. You may appeal an enforcement decision by contacting support@sagaboxtv.com.

8. Virtual items and coins

Sagabox uses virtual currency ("coins") and VIP subscriptions. Coins and other virtual items:

• have no cash value and are not redeemable for money or anything of value outside the Service;
• are non-transferable and cannot be sold, traded, or gifted between accounts;
• are subject to the pricing and availability shown in the Service, which we may change.

At launch the Android app sells nothing directly; purchases of coins and VIP are made on our website through our third-party checkout provider, subject to that provider's terms. Purchases are final except where required by law or the provider's policy.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and the films, comics, and other content we make available (excluding your own user content), is owned by Sagabox or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly perform, or create derivative works from our content except as expressly permitted.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, the license granted to you ends, and the provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law) will survive.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be available.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sagabox will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or a nominal amount required by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
